This new adult camp is designed to create a safe and supportive camp atmosphere specifically for adults that benefit from more individualized attention and/or having their 1:1 coach or assistant. This program will include many of the same experiences as our traditional Zoo camp but will feature smaller group sizes, more individualized attention, and a variety of adaptable activities. We will have a team of dedicated and trained staff to run this program, however, please note that our staff are not equipped to manage more complex medical conditions or intensive behavioral needs. A camper's registration in this program includes a space for that camper's 1:1 coach or assistant if needed. We recommend contacting us directly at camp@marylandzoo.org if you have questions or want to discuss any specific requirements to determine if our camp is the right fit for your camper. 

Please Note: Zoo Expedition for Adults is a three-day experience; registration for individual days is not available. This program is an active experience with a substantial amount of walking each day on varied terrain under potentially hot and humid outdoor conditions.

PLEASE NOTE: 

• A $50 non-refundable processing fee applies for cancellation of any confirmed Adult Camp registration. 

• Refunds will not be issued for cancellations received fewer than 10 business days prior to the registered camp start date or for any missed days of the program.
